Rise Against: es una banda estadounidense de punk rock formada en 1999. Actualmente los miembros son Tim McIlrath (voz principal, guitarra rítmica) Zach Blair (guitarra líder, coros), Joe Principe (bajo, coros) y Brandon Barnes (batería, percusión).

Rise Against se formó con el nombre de "Transistor Revolt" en 1999, gracias a la unión de ex-miembros de las bandas 88 Fingers Luies y Baxter.^[La banda cambió su nombre a "Rise Against" en 2001 y lanzó su primer álbum, The Unraveling (producido por el veterano Pr de punk por Mass Giorgini a través de Fat Wreck Chords ese mismo año.^[Mr. Precision dejó el grupo en 2001, siendo reemplazado por Todd Mohney.

Siren Song of the Counter Culture es el tercer álbum de estudio de la banda estadounidense de punk rock y ahora hard core melódico Rise Against, lanzado el 10 de agosto del 2004. El álbum obtuvo muchas ventas en especial por su sencillo "Swing Life Away", el cual alcanzó el número 12 en la lista de Billboard Modern Rock Tracks, convirtiéndolo en el sencillo con mayor éxito de la banda hasta la fecha. Del disco también se extrajeron los sencillos "Give It All" y "Life Less Frightening"
